This policy covers The Gloves website and blog. It supplements the privacy notice identifying the controller and your rights. Cookie choices are managed directly by this website, without Cookiebot or a subscription service.
Necessary and optional technologies
Necessary technologies support requested functions such as consent choices, sign-in and the configurator. Optional categories are Statistics and External content. Both are off until you actively enable them; scrolling or continuing to browse does not grant consent.
Cookies and browser storage
Cookies and similar browser storage can remember choices, maintain requested sessions and support website security. Optional technologies can measure visits or display third-party content. This notice concerns the public website and links to the privacy notice for information about the controller and your rights.
Your choices
The banner offers Accept all, Reject all and Customize. Closing the initial banner keeps consent-controlled services off and remembers that choice. Reopen Cookie preferences in the footer to change individual categories or withdraw consent. Your choice is saved on this browser for six months, together with its date and policy version, without an advertising identifier. Withdrawing consent reloads the page to stop services activated with that consent. Refusing does not prevent use of the main website or contact forms.
Aggregate site counters
To understand and improve the site, we count public page openings, configurator openings and starts, grouped by day and broad source category. These internal counters operate without analytics cookies or persistent visitor identifiers and do not store full URLs, referrers, IP addresses, contact details or individual journeys in the statistics table. Aggregate site totals are retained for up to 13 months. Blog articles also have an aggregate opening counter, retained for the life of the article, without visitor identifiers. Hosting and security providers may separately process technical request logs as described in this notice.
Services used
Statistics enables Google Analytics 4 and blog interaction measurements. External content enables Vimeo embeds. Google Maps, SociableKIT reviews and YouTube players, including the Media page, remain available even before a choice or after Reject all: that control does not block those services. We use youtube-nocookie.com, which does not guarantee an absence of provider requests or tracking. These providers receive technical data, including your IP address, when their content loads and may use their own cookies, including for marketing. Videos hosted directly for this website remain available without optional consent. External links open separate services governed by their privacy policies.
Cookie details and duration
The necessary localStorage entry gloves-cookie-consent expires after six months. With Statistics enabled, Google Analytics uses _ga and _ga_* cookies, configured here to expire after 180 days without renewal on each visit; they are removed from this domain when statistics consent is withdrawn. Third-party cookies and storage used inside external embeds are controlled by their providers and may vary: see policies.google.com/technologies/cookies, vimeo.com/cookie_policy and sociablekit.com/privacy-policy. This panel is not an automated cookie scan. Third-party browser data already stored can also be removed in your browser settings.
Other local storage
Signing into a reserved area stores authentication information in the browser under gloves-standalone-auth to maintain the session. The configurator stores session information and saved selections so you can resume your quotation. Browser storage left by an earlier visit can be removed through the browser’s site-data settings; doing so may also remove saved choices and sign you out.
